Ohhh, today was a day when I just couldn’t resist anything girly! I wanted pink, and high heels, and frilliness, and shopping, and giggling, and FLOWERS! I don’t know what brings on these urges, but occasionally, don’t we all have to just take it up a notch and assert our girlishness??
Thanks to ZAARA, I had the absolutely PERFECT dress to feed my need: it’s the Mrinali in Blossom, and it is everything sugary there could be! The handkerchief hem is so sweet and frilly, and lends a different silhouette to the dress than your standard babydoll. And the print! Ooooh, I LOVE Zaara for her inspired prints and this one is no exception. Love the pastelly sweetness of it all.
Of course, as you can tell, I was in the mood to take it ALL the way into girl-land, and the accessories totally came through for me! The quest to cover myself in flowers was pretty successful. The hair is uber-feminine, and the flower is color-changeable– yay! Also, this sweet ring from Elate has some fantastic detail, and is just the right size. It shows up on your hand without looking overwhelming, or relying on *blingblingbling*. The shoes have a few blossoms on them as well– from DeLa, the Stella pumps. I have a ton from DeLa, but these are my first pumps, and I have to say BRAVO! They are sexy in the most sweet and innocent way possible. 🙂 And although I don’t see any flowers on them, the bracelet set from Zaara is a standout piece on its own, and really gives the girly look an air of sophistication. (Errr, well, takes it up ONE peg, anyhow!)
Now… I’m off to doodle my crush’s name on my notebook! See you soon!
