Okay, time to jump on the bandwagon. I could not resist the marketing push and genius that is fri.day, a brand new store that really knows how to generate a buzz!!
My first impression of the store was: oh man, the Gap has come to SL! The displays, with neatly stacked basics in every color imaginable, sorted by sleeve length, neckline, pant leg, or what have you… it is strikingly similar to a Gap marketing system. Besides making me think Gap, this array of simple separates made me realize how little there is in the way of stores devoted to quality basics in SL. Yes, there are stores that have them, but rarely would you find such an intense focus on high quality and wearable basic layers, as you do here.
There is one other focus, though– hair! The hair is absolutely brilliant, and the biggest reason to give yourself a little Friday shopping spree. So luscious, and soft looking, and like the clothes: versatile.
