The newest addition to Miel are Cali Cords which are super cute!  You can really mix n match these fun separates to create so many different fashion combinations.  Miel continues to surprise us with hot fashion with a cute appeal.  You have the option to wear the pullover hood down or up (the hood up option which includes hair is sold separately from the pullover), the skirt has pockets with a little wink (bunny) or you can wear without and the tee you can wear underneath the pullover or wear it alone.  Cali Cords come in a variety of colors.  One more cool option you can change the color of the belt, buckle and wink ^^ Check out the new releases at Miel!  HAPPY FRIDAY TO ALL!!

With the new weekend hair release from Miel Head Games we no longer need to worry which hair to wear on Friday, Saturday nor Sunday. I love the flirty and sophisticated styles, you can choose from two ponytails or an updo with a flower.

The tie, ribbons, pin and flower are menu driven so you can change the color and texture on the ribbons.  These are super cute styles that go with everything.   It is just too hard to choose one, so why not buy them all XD!

I was hopping around today participating in grabbing excellent 50L Friday deals and popped into Tyranny.  Instantly I was in shopping heaven.  50L Friday is a great way to find stores you have not already discovered.  There have been several stores I have been quite amazed at the creativity of the designs.  I am totally in love with 50L Fridays.

Tyranny reminds me a bit of raiding your mom’s closet or shopping at a vintage shop.  The vintage look is super cute because you can combine so many styles together and it will look funky chic.  This outfit totally screams I’ve just picked up a few groceries at Trader Joe’s and I am headed to Powell’s to find a great book to read.

I am every bit as excited as the rest of SL right now, with the brand new release of Anya Ohmai’s collection.  As if her legendary cuteness and creative styling are not enough, she is launching a new line of clothes, too!  Yayyy!  So at the risk of being the 257th blogger or so to cover this… here goes:

Leap tall buildings

Her basics can be found at creator’s pavilion, and they are utterly adorable, with a great attention to detail and a phenomenally friendly price tag.  There are 20 colors of her high rise tank (shown above), all selling for just 1L per tank (in packs of 5)!  Now you see why I am literally leaping tall buildings to get to this sale…

Besides that, there are fatpacks of basic leggings, which pool up properly at the ankle, without the bother of prim attachments, and have a lovely sheerness to them which makes for cute layering options.

The hair in these pics is from Ohmai, as well– two quirky cuts that manage to be wearable AND the opposite of boring, everyday hair.  Above is the Tiffee hair in ginger, and below…

jacket

…is the Toppi.  Squee!  I am a huge fan of big ol’ balls of hair on my av, and this is an awesomely big bun, done chic and messy and well.  In this second pic, the jacket is part of a less casual Ohmai collection which will be expanding later in August.  For now, you can find the Hamilton jacket in four colors at DARE.  I paired it with a favorite silhouette from Sugarcube, the chopsticks holder dress, as well as another pair of Ohmai’s basic leggings– this time, without the feet.

I am totally crushing on this collection.  (Not that you can’t tell…)  I so admire Anya’s style in general, it is very cool to see her creativity expanding even more, and spilling out onto the rest of us.  I’ll say it again– Yayyyy!

Ok, Ok!  I’ll stop rambling and just pass along the slurls:

Pics One and Two:
Tank: Ohmai, highrise tank in orange (part of modern youth pack)
Leggings: Ohmai, Basics sheer leggings in eggplant
Hair: Ohmai, Tiffee in ginger
Shorts: Beetle Bones, Jasmine highwaisted pants in cream
Shoes: Miel, Flor Jane in light
Pendant: Royal Blue, Love Stone pendant in multi/gold

Pic Three:
Jacket: Ohmai, Hamilton Military jacket in Basic Blank
Dress: Sugarcube, chopsticks holder dress
Hair: Ohmai, Toppi in ginger
Leggings: Ohmai, Basics sheer leggings in wood
Shoes: Jimmy Chau, miki in saffron

Skin in all pics:
Curio, Sunny Petal in Buttermilk

I had 67 Lindens when I woke up this morning.  I was about to add more, but then a little trumpet sounded in my head, calling me to a challenge… HOW many outfits could I put together for just 67 Lindens? Outfits that look, to me, as nicely put together as anything I have actually purchased?  Could I really live the Sweet Life I had become accustomed to on such a diminished budget!?

You should know– I am NOT a budget shopper.  I am a total sucker, the kind the shops can’t wait to open their doors for every day.  I am not proud of it.  This challenge was really a test of my own (heretofore unseen) self-control, and a test to see if I could look like a diva without spending like one.

The rules: I could use my existing purchased skin, since I didn’t feel like photoshopping demo marks off my face, or waiting a million years for a “J” to come up in a lucky chair.  (See, this is just the kind of attitude that normally thwarts my frugality…).  So skins were in.  Also allowed: accessorizing my new outfits with a few freebies I had managed to like enough to keep in my inventory.  JUST accessories, no main outfit pieces allowed!

In the end, I spent:

L$51 on dresses
L$ 11 on tops or pants
L$2 on tights
L$ 1 on shoes
L$1 on hair
L$1 on accessories

… and I used 2 hairs that I had already purchased.  I think the phrase is, “reduce, REUSE, and recycle”, right?  🙂

OK, have you had enough caveats?  In that case– here are the results, with pics and slurls, listed from most to least expensive:
